I don’t really feel like I have much to say. It’s become normal to not look at Facebook and Snapchat all day. I keep thinking to check FB on my laptop while I’m here, which is much of the day now that school is back in, and I keep forgetting to do it so I guess I don’t really care that much.
I have already finished a book this month, and I’m ahead on my schoolwork. I gave myself a poorly executed manicure yesterday while riding a stationary bike.
Oh! So one of my New Year’s resolutions, as is the case every new year, is to focus on physical health. This year, I decided that I want to spend 30 minutes 5 days a week doing some physical activity, including yoga. I went to an orthopaedist recently because of my back and shoulder pain (I have scoliosis, and now at the ripe old age of 29 I am experiencing significant discomfort from it), and the NP set up this elaborate game plan which includes me doing yoga again. I used to, and I loved it, and I have no excuse for not doing it, and every reason to do it, so I’ll be doing that today. Starting with a once-a-week commitment for yoga and meditation because I’m trying to get better at setting more attainable goals.
I really want to write a book.
